Bleaching your skin







Some Jamaican people are convinced that white people have all the advantages in the world. They believe that white people get jobs easier, earn the highest salaries and attract handsome and wealthy people. But there’s one little problem with the people of Jamaica with an (“African decent”- dark skin, thick hair) there are about four shades darker than the typical white person and just barely graces the (“browning”- light skin completion, soft hair) category among there black people.
There perception is that the fairer you are, the more likely one is to become successful socially, economically and romantically. So to solve this problem they use a bleaching cream which lighten the skin completion. Dr. Neil Persadsingh, a leading Jamaican dermatologist says that there are “2.6 million complaints about People, skin bleaching and the problem is that many people misuse by overuse skin lightening creams, which are prescribed at low doses to correct uneven pigmentation. These creams work by killing melanin, the substance that lends skin its pigmentation and protects the skin from the cancer-causing ultraviolet rays of the sun. All people have melanin in their skin the more melanin present, the darker the skin”.
Many of the symthems that Victims will suffer from is nausea, shortness of breath, convulsions and delirium. Damage to the skin – wrinkles, and severe acne. Skin bleaching is just as popular as keeping afloat with a popular fashion trend. Many youngsters who have started belching were influence by the older people in the community. Bleaching your skin evoked mixed reactions from the opposite sex. Some of will say it look pretty and you should continue and Some will make fun and say you look like a monkey and call you ‘black-white.
This bleaching trend is psychology for social acceptance, more opportunities, and improved self-image, is already epidemic. From as young as 10 year old to as old as 40 years of age are bleaching ther sking so they are “ social Accepted”.

  1. I think that this whole bleaching your skin to be lighter craze is crazy. I heard about this once before on the Tyra Banks show and I learned on that episode that not only were woman doing it to themselves they were bleaching their children's skin as well. That may be the reason why so many young kids do it, because their parents encourage it or have even done it for them.
